AFE Navigator 6.1 Now Available It is no secret that AFE Navigator is the oil and gas industry’s leading capital tracking solution. Enhancements and new features are designed to add value to the user experience in turn making users more valuable to their organization. Import economic data from Value Navigator You can now seamlessly import project economic data into AFE Navigator to quickly associate project viability with your individual AFEs. Importing economic data has been simplified and virtually eliminates the need for manual data entry and attached economic data files within AFE Navigator. We know how important the AFE is to your decision making and understand that this critical data can come from a number of sources. Import functionality is applicable to Value Navigator data or via XML file depending on your source application. Open integration provides the flexibility you need to make the best decisions possible. Separation of Mass Review and Mass Approval Functions AFE Navigator 6.1 offers increased control over the group AFE review and approval process. Reviewing a group of related AFEs can be very different from the approval process. Separating these two functions enables Administrators to maintain corporate governance and increase control of the AFE approval process. Ability to Track the “Route for Review Date” Tracking the ‘Route for Review Date’ enables AFE Navigator customers to improve internal business processes by identifying priorities and pinpointing bottlenecks in the AFE approval process. Using this feature to monitor AFE cycles enables users to identify potential areas for increased efficiency. Tracking this information is also useful as a data trail should a dispute arise at a later date. Custom Configuration of Labels in the General Tab Screen Customize the labels in the General tab to align the terminology on the screen with your own corporate language. Those people designated to approve an AFE often view this screen first so synchronizing the technical language with your corporate language can reduce confusion and speed the approval process. These configurations will also apply to realated documents such as forms and reports. Addition of Sub-Totals to the Cost Estimate Form In AFE Navigator 6.1, you can view ‘Sub-Totals by Account Group ’ on the Cost Estimate form. This simple addition makes the form more readable, more informative, and assists you in understanding the data. Enhanced Search Capabilities in ‘Open AFE’ Dialog Additional columns and data fields are available in the ‘Open AFE’ dialog box for enhanced AFE search capabilities. Increased flexibility to build custom filters improves speed and enables you to locate your desired AFE instantly.
