President’s Message
In 1988 I was working as a reservoir/exploitation engineer for a major oil & gas company. My manager at the time, Randy Freeborn, and I were not happy with the forecasting tools available. We felt that they were not honoring basic reservoir engineering principles. We decided to build a better package – one that followed an engineer's workflow, was easy to use, and got accurate results – quickly.
In 1998 Energy Navigator was born and the original vision of a better engineering tool grew into what you see today. Energy Navigator's vision has grown over the past five years as well. Our two software packages, Value Navigator® and AFE Navigator®, when used together, provide an efficient workflow for a typical oil & gas company's business process. It is no mistake that our tag line states: "Helping the Oil & Gas industry make better decisions."
